An artificial lake, bounded by hanging beech woods, which encompass a Nature Trail, is used for fishing and boating during the summer months. 1.5 miles from the town centre is Hughenden Manor Park, this Victorian Gothic house was the home of former Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeili.

Wycombe Air Park, 2 miles south of the town centre is home to the Blue Max Museum and a collection of historic flying machines which have starred in many films.

Picturesque Marlow situated on the Thames is close by.

High Wycombe is the home of Wycombe Swan Theatre, one of the finest theatres outside London. Other attractions include a six screen cinema featuring the latest movies, Badminton centre and The Handy Cross leisure and sports complex.

For those avid shoppers there are the Octagon and Chilterns shopping centres and the Brand new ‘state of the art’ Eden shopping centre will be opening in Spring 2008 bringing with it a House of Fraser, Debenhams, and a collection of fashion designer stores to complement High Wycombes great range of shopping facilities.
