These are - Downs, Blaise Castle and Ashton Court. The city has two football clubs - Bristol City and Bristol Rovers. It also has a number of non-league clubs. It also has a rugby union club, a first-class cricket side - Gloucestershire C.C.C. and a Rugby League side.

Blaise Castle estate has a recreation ground and large playing fields, a mansion, and a small gorge. The mansion is now a part of the Bristol City Museum and Art Gallery.
